In the second in my series of random notes I’ve found.
This one is from an old sketch book, from about 30 years ago.
I love finding these snap shots into my brain.
Sketch books are great for that, they a place for experimentation and freedom where my subconscious can reveal itself.
Though I’ve no idea why I thought I was a Venus Fly Trap, I don’t even really like them as plants.
They’re a bit creepy, I’m not sure I want to know what I was thinking.
What do you think it means?
Anyway……
Here’s not a Venus Fly Trap, but a hydrangea.
It’s the time of year when Hydrangea’s really come into their own for me.
Yes they’re beautiful when the flowers first come out but but but….
When their flowers start to fade and turn different colours that is my favourite time.
And Hydrangea’s represent gratitude.
And who doesn’t want to feel gratitude.
